BJAI Inauguration 2021
The Bihar Jharkhand Association of Ireland (BJAI) was officially inaugurated on 25 September 2021, marking the beginning of an important community journey for people from Bihar and Jharkhand living in Ireland.
BJAI was inaugurated by the then Ambassador of India to Ireland, H.E. Sandeep Kumar, in the presence of Lord Mayor Cllr Seamie Moore. Their presence added great significance to the occasion and reflected strong support for community integration, cultural connection, and Indian regional representation in Ireland.
This inauguration event was one of the first major gatherings organised by BJAI after nearly two years of Covid-related restrictions and lockdowns in Ireland. It was a meaningful and emotional occasion, as people were able to meet one another again in person, reconnect socially, and get to know fellow community members from Bihar and Jharkhand.
The event created a warm and welcoming platform for families, professionals, students, and community members to come together, celebrate shared roots, and begin building a strong support network in Ireland.
The inauguration of BJAI marked the foundation of a vibrant community organisation dedicated to cultural celebration, community bonding, charitable activities, youth engagement, and the promotion of Bihar and Jharkhand heritage in Ireland.
BJAI extends its heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, members, volunteers, families, and supporters who were part of this milestone event and helped lay the foundation for BJAI's continued growth and success.
