BJAI Ganesh Puja 2022

The Bihar Jharkhand Association of Ireland (BJAI) proudly hosted the 4th day of the Shree Ganesh Puja ceremony in September 2022 at the Vedic Hindu Cultural Centre Ireland (VHCCI) Temple.

BJAI organised this as an open community event, welcoming people from all communities to participate in the puja and celebration. The event was attended by approximately 500 devotees, making it a vibrant and memorable gathering of faith, culture, and community spirit.

The celebration began with the chanting of Shree Ganesha's name by renowned Bollywood playback singer Mr. Krishna Beuraa, creating a devotional and uplifting atmosphere for everyone present.

The puja was then performed with full traditional Indian rituals by Pandit Sudhansh Verma. Devotees gathered together to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the symbol of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune.

The spiritual programme was followed by devotional and regional songs performed by talented BJAI children, along with melodious songs presented by senior members of the BJAI community. Their performances added warmth, devotion, and cultural richness to the celebration.

One of the key highlights of the event was the special community aarti, where devotees came together in prayer and devotion. The celebration concluded with a delicious traditional dinner and prasad distribution for all devotees at the VHCCI temple.

The live puja celebration was also streamed through BJAI's official Facebook page, allowing people in Ireland, India, and across the world to join the celebration virtually.

This Ganesh Puja celebration reflected BJAI's commitment to preserving Indian regional culture and traditions while promoting unity, inclusion, and community participation in Ireland.
