Please talk to a solicitor or look at https://www.irishimmigration.ie/ • Please ensure that you get the formal lease with RTB registration letter for yourself and your spouse from beginning of your stay if possible • Even if your spouse is not working, get him/her on the utility bills, have a separate or a joint account where possible Documents required You would need the following documents to meet 150 points for both residency and identity. • Identity Proof- Attested Copy* of Passport (150 points). o If you do not have passport, it would be complex but you can still get 150 points if you have alternate documents, please look at page 4 of https://www.irishimmigration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Citizenship-Guidance-Document-April-2024.pdf Residency Proof-you would need 150 points from both type A and type B documents foreach of the 5 years Type A – These are worth 100 points. You need atleast 1 document for each year from the below options. You can have point 1 for 2 years and point 2 for 3 or any other combination thereof. 1. P60 or Employment Detail summary from revenue for 5 years prior to the application. If you are applying in middle of a year, you may not have 5 P60 or EDS. In that case you can use 4 years of this document and for last year use any other option from below. 2. Bank Statement a. Please ensure to provide 3 consecutive months of bank statement for any year where you are using this as a residency proof. b. Please ensure you have atleast 3 POS transactions in Ireland in any month where you are using the statement as a proof. 3. Department of Social Protection contribution statement. You can get it here Type B Document- These are for 50 points. You need at least 1 document for each year from the below options. You can have point 1 for 2 years and point 2 for 3 or any other combination thereof. 1. Rent Agreement- This needs to be accompanied with RTB letter. If you are providing this for multiple years, use the bank statement to showcase online rent payment as well. 2. Mortgage statement 3. Utility bill (like electricity, gas, landline, internet etc.) 4. Credit Card statement 5. Medical Employment History- Only available and applicable for medical professionals. Note- In most of the situations, you would have P60/EDS for 5 years for Type A proof and Utility Bill for Type B proof. But any combination of these documents would be fine. Also if you have any document missing, write it clearly in a letter and attach an affidavit available on Page 12 In addition to the above, you would also need 1. Residency Calculator here 2.
